Journey of Enlightenment
Learning from the second semester in Newcastle, personally have gained excellent study experience and living in the real University life. In our increasingly interdependent world, international experience is a vital aspect of being a responsible citizen. Though I was kicked out from the Malaysia public universities, giving up never exist in my end of thought. (Shouldn’t have said kicked out since I never entered any in Malaysia). Though am disappointed and feel the racism in Malaysia is getting worse, family and friends are still the one left in my mind to look back in anger.
Only abroad can you get an accurate picture of the country and her role in the world. Moreover, the careful selection of a study abroad will give you valuable perspective in your field of interest-perspectives. After an international experience, you will be more flexible about what kinds of environments in which you can competently work. Not saying that money is the only constraint that stops you from moving ahead, but there are still chances to go abroad if you wanted to get out from Malaysia. I am sorry to say I love Malaysia food, the weather, and other elements that this country holds, but I hate the politics, the ‘quota’ and the education system in that country. Due to the academic application quota, I was not given a chance to have my entrée into anyone of them. Let’s put these personal issues apart, forget about it.
