China mission team 2009
First of all, on behalf of our MF China Mission trip I would like to Praise the Lord for His wonderful blessings in our lives. Being a part of His mission program in China had been fruitful. From the testimonies shared by the previous team which went to China, we dare not expect much about our accommodation there. However, our God is a great God. His plan for us is really amazing and totally out of our expectation.
During the 1st week of our stay in XiAn, 6 of us from Malaysia with 11 others from various countries worked together as a team to help renovate and beautify a local school which China Heart had founded a project known as ‘Dr School’. In a short period of 5days, we successfully finished our duty there as planned. It’s amazing to see the result of our effort in that school’s compound.
It was really challenging job for us to spend time with the local children there as many of us are inexperienced. Thank God for his mercy and grace we were able to blend in with them. At the end our visit in that school, we went for a walk down into the simple and poorly equipped dormitory. Its gloomy, omnipresent shade room, corridor and toilet caused all of us felt helpless and depressed. All we can do is to pray for them. By His grace, we have faith that the harsh environment will change.
