Visit to the Istana on Deepavali

Today is the Indian new year known as Deepavali. I went to Istana (President house, 总统府) with my mum, my brother and my aunt. Istana is next to Plaza Singapura shopping mall. We take cab to Plaza Singapura and meet my aunt outside Instana.

We went to queue to enter to the Istana. Singaporean and PR entry are free while, Tourists are to pay S$1 per entry. After that, we went to the security check point to check. After that, we went inside to the Istana.

It is very crowded as Istana are not always open to public! I use my PSP and take a lot of photos. Many people are curious about my PSP as it can take photo!!! Ha Ha.. It is fun taking photos in the Istana and the weather are just nice. Windy.

After that, we decide to walk out of the Istana and head back to Plaza Singapura. My brother and I went to Carrefour as I want to see about the PSP WIFI  and I would like to buy but I could hardly see any staff around the counter!!! Where are they??

The Carrefour customer service standard seem to drop and they also lack of staffs in the carrefour. Many customers want to buy some products which is located at the counter but they could not find any staffs!!

It's such an disgrace that, they change their new layout and concept but there are not much staffs and I also seen one staff sleeping away at the counter!! I did went to Carrefour last night and it the same lousy standard!!

So, I decide not to buy anymore and we went to buy drink. After that we went to find our mum and aunt. We head to food court. I ordered Tom Yum Soup, Thailand food dish and 3 plate of rice as my mum, my aunt and I share while my brother order other food to eat. I also order Ice Red Ruby while my mum have Cheng teng.

After eating, we went to John Little at Mid-point as they move to new premises from opp the street (Specialist mall) Specialist mall need to give way to build a new shopping mall known as Orchard Central.

My brother went to buy cloth at John Little. After that, we walk to Far East as I want to go to the Entertainment shop to get WIFI for my PSP. But when I went there, the shop just close. Sigh..

So, we decide to went home. My aunt went to other side to take bus, so we bid goodbye and walk to the bus stop and take bus home.
