² definition: a philosophy that emphasizes the a priori conditions of knowledge and experience or the unknowable character of ultimate reality or that emphasizes the transcendent as the fundamental reality.

² example sentence: Mr. Emerson believe in transcendentalism.

² prefix: trans-: across, changing or between.

² example:

(1) translate: change from one language to another.

(2) transformation
