[Wikimania2007] Thanks all!
Wikimania has eventually came to the end.
This event, for me, only the word "crazy" is able to describe it.
It is amazing, it is fantastic, it's all about a dream!
Last year, in fact, I already knew that Wikimania was gonna be held in Taipei.
As a local Wikipedian, I was so excited but no way to help.
I did surf the site, but left immediately with sadness.
"I am just a senoir high. What can I do benifits to them, the preparation team? How could I help?" I thought,
"Come on, stop day-dreaming~"
In April this year, I went on the same site again, and I saw the local information article without the airport's map,
so I involuntarily drew the map and uploaded it to the site.
No wonder just few moments later, Allen T Chang, whom the first Wikimania team member I met, asked me to join and do more help.
I was just so happy and it's the first time I feel I can really do something meaningful to the event.
I accept immeadiately without a second thought!
Later I met the general organizer, Theodoranian, and other team worker like KJ.
I started working on the website of Wikimania.
I felt so content and a lot achievements.
It might be the first time since the Taiwanese Junior High BCTest
that I feel myself meaningful and have the ability to do something positively.
At the conference, due to my school time, I didnt't really help a lot.
However, every volunteer is just so well and kindness.
They would even chat to me despite that we have never met each other before!
So was the same of all participants, no matter local or foreign.
Though we are all new, we just like two old friends getting together to have a
reunion.
It's wonderful! I barely feel stress here.
Somehow, I feel that I myself was more like the one needing help even I had a tag of "volunteer" on my neck.
I was sometime out of the situation, but there always had someone helping me.
Every on is just so kind!
During this conference, I met a lot of people.
They are all intelligent and outstanding
like Theodoranian graduated from NTU, and Tsuchiang works at Acedamia Sinica.
Allen is the engineer of TSMC, and many are duxes from NTU and other shools
that as a simple high school student I know I would never be able to study in that kind of good ones.
I feel so embarrassed.
But they all gave me courage and confidence.
They are just so inspiring!
I want to thank all attendees in Wikimania this year!
You all gave me a great memory.
As a senior high, and this is my very first experience joining such a great event.
My happiness is truly past ex<x>pression.
You all are the indispensable piecesof my globe of dream,
and I hope I could be yours as well!
I would like to thank Theodorian the most.
He gave me the chance of this dream all at all.
I could be in the jod without his kindness.
He is so nice, he is my idol!
I also like to thank KJ, whom the most I contact to.
She is also brilliant and pretty,
without any black marks!
And also Allen,
I wouldn't fulfiil this dream if he did ask me to join the team!
