RM1 for Water Rights:
100,000 Malaysians Support Tony Pua vs Syabas
We call for 100,000 Malaysians to donate RM1 to support Member of Parliament for Petaling Jaya Utara, Tony Pua in his battle with Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor (SYABAS).
Tony has fought for Selangor water rights which was privatized by the Barisan Nasional government to be returned to the state government. SYABAS has sued Tony for defamation and the High Court has awarded RM200,000 in damages with costs to SYABAS. Tony has appealed the judgment to the Court of Appeal but he has been asked to pay the damages to SYABAS first.
