My deepest condolences to Tun Lim Chong Eu's family
Penang's longest-serving Chief Minister Tun Dato Seri Utama Dr Lim Chong Eu, 91 passed away after suffering a stroke nearly a month. May he rest in peace. My my deepest condolences to Lim Chien Cheng and his family of their loss. It is a loss of all Malaysians.

His great efforts as politician, Chief Minister
of Penang and Member of Parliament has
contributed much to the nations and public. A
typical chinese leader in Malaysia and be
remembered by his remarkable history for all
Malaysian.

He's one of those rare person stood up against the
supremecy of UMNO within BN. When looking back at
the history, I could understand the reason making
Gerakan joining BN due of the high unemployment
rate of BN and risk of losing the free port for
Penang at that time. That was his best choice
dealing with the nasty Tun Razak during the
aftermath of May 13. He did what he could to
secure the best for Penang's development.
Unfortunately the current Gerakan leaders do not
live up to his level.
