even if there is automatic voter registration , it might not
    totally work out.
    1) they are automatically registered once they turn 21. But will
the younger generation vote when election comes?
2)Malaysians who are working overseas especially East
Malaysians, will they bother to take a flight back to their
respective states just to vote for the sake of voting?

    THEREFORE
make it COMPULSORY for all 21 year old & above for Malaysians to
vote be it state or parliamentary elections.

those fails to vote during a GE , shall either be fined , jailed
    or both.

Question: is it easier to register smuggled
voters from neighboring countries with SPR, or
to fake birth records in Jabatan Pendaftaran
    Negara?

that's why i prefer to have voters to be
    registered rather than automatic registration
for all age 21. this is to prevent BN from
    smuggle voters from other countries

    manual instead of automatic registration.

though manual registration may have to spend more on man power
costs , auto too required to be spent on eg: capital costs on
Info tech , hardware , software , interface tech etc
etc......LAN/WAN where computers will be interlinked from HQ SPR
in KL to other 13 states SPR office......& so on....

look at the sorry state of Sabah , flooded with illegals ,
infiltrating among locals & help vote BN to keep them in
power......tats the end product manufactured by DRM

service and voer registration; also wat about
payment of tax? why some thing compulsory some
    not?

"those fails to vote during a GE , shall either
be fined , jailed or both."

then democracy is lost - people can choose not
to vote either as protest - BN lost some seats
because of that or deem all candidates not worth
    voting for

of course there are some who are not bothered.
it is not a crime so one cannot punish them. if
that is the case, the damage to economy will be
huge. imagine lazy professionals or ignorant
labourers jaming up courts, jail house and
    police station

i hope u r just saying in jest

erm....it is because some percentage of voters cannot be
bothered to come & vote , or yet to register as voter , BN had
been in power for far too long hence making this nation of ours
more & more sick than ever before.

How do get all voters or bring their attention on why voting is
vital whenever a GE is held ......
EDUCATE voters , but will educating voters be enough ? what else
could we do to encourage those not interested to vote to come
out to vote & how to entice younger generations to be interested
in politics , let them be aware that the current situation will
not only affect the current generation but also the future
generation , be a more responsible & sensible Malaysian
    citizen.........
