【念念有辞】 悲剧负责人
本月12日是峇厘岛爆炸案的六周年。六年前的一起大爆炸，炸死了202条无辜的生命，炸碎了无数家属亲友的心。
逝去的生命无法挽回，唯一的安慰就是看到该为这起悲剧负起责任的罪犯被绳之以法。而印尼当局也没让众人失望，不到一年的时间，三名主谋都已被判死刑。
本月13日，是刁曼岛船难事件一周年。去年的这起渡轮失火事件，导致7条宝贵生命的流逝，为去年欢腾的开斋节蒙上阴影。
我国交通部当时曾针对刁曼岛船难事件做出果断的行动，停职查办两名当值的海事官。而一年后的今天，我们所知道的，也就只是两名当值海事官曾被停职。难道，两名海事官的停职，就足以为七死八伤的悲剧负起全责？
没向船客说明救生衣放置何处的渡轮公司，没向船客示范如何使用救生衣的船员，在悲剧酿成后，究竟负起了什么样的责任？
事后被揭发牴触《商用船运法令》第218及484条文的“海鸥快轮号”，从2005年3月18日开始便没有更新乘客安全证书及从2006年3月16日开始便没有更新执照，却依然能够自由的在大海上穿梭长达两年半，海事局的执法不力及疏忽怠职，又怎么可能只是两名当值的海事官的责任？可是，除了事后为了平息众怒而以雷霆之速被停职的两名海事官，还有哪位官员被查办了？
此时此刻，峇厘岛爆炸案罹难者的家属正为那三名主谋迟迟未被送上断头台而不满抗议；我国那七名死者的家属的心情，怕是以欲哭无泪来形容也不为过。我不知道为什么那三名主谋还未被行刑，但最起码，在一年的时间内，该为悲剧负责的人已经无处遁形。我们呢？
总是这样。事件发生后总能瞬间牵动全城，热烈的讨论一般维持一两个星期，之后就渐渐落幕，被其他更耸动的头条取代，而过时的头条就慢慢被收进资料室，从此不了了之。
逝去的生命，一度为我们带来纠察改正的契机，也随着时间的流逝，被牺牲掉了。

1. In a previous article I said that a multiracial
country needs a strong Government.
2. A weak Government would not be able to deal with
the quarrelling between the races, which is the
natural tendency of most multiracial societies.
Indeed in some multiracial countries violence and
fighting are common. Witness the countries around us.
3. For the slightest reason the races would be at
each other's throats. One incident was the reaction
in some countries because of the currency crisis.

They are still in power. Blame no one.

在大马，健全的制度似乎还是遥不可及的梦...
在这里，只要你是公务员抑或则在政联营公司里，你的饭碗就好像前
阵子某政治人物所说的一样，白钢碗...口口声声又带很有自信地
喊“Malaysia Boleh”，但，样样都“大婆咧”?以后也许改口
喊“蒙古咧”？:p
我不盼望我们能有一个健全的制度，只盼拥有一个良好的执行态度。
就在此事而言...一年了，停职真的是个解决的方案吗？停职，真得
能警惕其他官员吗？？如果有关部门认为停职已经是最大的惩罚的
话，我想，安全对有关部门而言，不比维护自己人重要...我不要求
一命偿一命，只要求有关疏忽的官员应该负上法律上该负的责任...
有法不能治，悲！

Again, my stand is licensing should be more liberal. Let someone
with a better safety practice start up their transportation
business, let them promote their brand with their safety record,
let the consumers vote for who they can trust their lives with.

it seems that in Malaysia, there seems to be a group of people
that enjoy immunity from whatever wrong they did
Malaysia's law enforcement is basically inconsistent and depends
on relationship, power play, negotiation and discretion.
Such inconsistency will be the hindrance to progress and confidence
With the resurgence of Mahathirism and gobal economy slum, we
are in for a hell of a ride now

Did you went through the article written in utusan
on the 13/10/08 abt MP josephine.This article really
boils my blood,its so so racist and instigating the
racial riot.Its purely threatens our most admired
and won the highest majority during the past
election MP TERESA.

Treat it as UMNO newspaper. That's it. No more than
that. In fact, rakyat read the paper and compare it
with the reality. Rakyat not bodoh now. Might try to
