今天才發現EMS有出一個免費的圖稿Rose Sampler 很漂亮, 而且每個月出一小部分, 一年份, 所以決定也來繡上一個, 有興趣的朋友要不要也一起繡呢 ?

我没有时间绣这个, 可以贡献一下, 回答那些问题...

翻译大意如下:
整个设计是213*307stitches. 就是用aida的话, 213 * 307 格啦...
所以, 如果你用14 ct 的Aida, 宽 : 213 除以 14 , 就是15.25" (39cm), 长: 307 除以14, 大约是22"
(56cm)
28 ct 的麻布, 因为over 2, 就是先28除以2等于14, 再用上面的方法算啦.. 结果就是一样15.25" x 22.00"
如果用16ct Aida (32ct麻布) , 同样的方法, 就可以算到整个设计的大小... 当你看到其他设计, 只要告诉你设计
的格数, 你就可以算到整个图案有多大.
接着下来, 你要在四周加上至少6"(15cm), 这样才可以frame(裱? 不知道中文怎么说.) 得好看...
这个图, 用14ct aida, 就是21.25" * 28" (54cm * 71cm)的布... 总之, 不能小于设计的大小...
关于如何定中心, 这个图是从左上角绣起的, 首先你要看你的布大小, 如果你按照他们的要求, 用14ct Aida,
21.25"*28" (54cm* 71cm) , 你就从上往下measure 6" ( 15cm , 84格啦=6*14), 再从左到右量6" (15cm, 同
样84格) , 那就是设计图的左上角...

线的多少
设计是推荐3条线绣在14ct Aida/28ct evenweave(麻布之类) , 你要13 skeins (束?)主色
(设计用312,你可以因喜好改啦. 5.5 feet 的318 和415.
如果是用16ct Aida, 两条线绣... 10束的主色, 和3.3 feet 的318 和415.
DMC 绣线(art117)好象是8米(8.7Yd) 一束, one yard = 3 feet. 因此318 和415 各一束是
绰绰有余的.

I think Kathleen explained very detailed. I just had some
addition to hers:
If you plan to use 18ct aida or 36 ct evenweave/linen, the
following are the sizes:
1) Designed size: 11.85" x 17.06" or 30.10 cm x 43.40 cm
2) Cut fabric (based on 3" add to each margin means total 6" on
top of width and length of the designed size) thus:
17.85" x 23.06" or 45.4 cm x 58.6 cm
For DMC threads: As I use 18ct aida, thus I purchased 10 skeins
for the main color of the tread.
The other colors are based on what Kathleen described.
Please note that the Gray shaded area on the design is
overlapping area. If you stitched for this month then make sure
you don't repeat that area in February's chart.

I just figured that I made a BIG mistake about the 6"
inches edge...
如果你是在原来的设计长度加上6" (15cm), 而不是两边都加6" (15cm)
(<--- I like to have the extra space , just in case...)
那么开始绣的区域是在:
用14ct Aida,21.25"*28" (54cm* 71cm) , 你就从上往下measure 3"
( 7.5cm , 42格啦=3*14), 再从左到右量3" (7.5cm, 同
样42格) , 那就是设计图的左上角...
