Moral Disorder by Margaret Atwood
After reading until the middle of this short stories collection did I realize
that the main characters are the same throughout. I believe the reason
of my inattentiveness partly resides with the fact that I was reading it in-between
waiting for the next manga’s page to finish downloading. Anyway, this is the third
book I’d read of Margaret Atwood. She had written dozens of books in the fields
of fiction, non- fiction, and poetry. I especially love her elaborated metaphors that
are both fitting and poetic. This is the most I can come up with…. Maybe I should start
talking about the state of the yellowing pages. Practice my own metaphors.
Umm...., the yellow framed the edge of the pages, creeping in, accumulating as
lost times piled up, like the red of maple leaves in fall. There, I still call this a book
review now. So what if my standards are falling? Had they ever been high before?
