sleepover. junior style.
One of the first entries on my blog is titled:
"STE家過夜 (September 17, 2007)"
Yes, it's been nearly two years and a half since the first time.
It's good to know that we've still got it; that we still can hang out just for the sake of it and watch movies together, or run around in the middle of the freezing night, or act obnoxiously immature in department stores.
So here is finally a decent update that's not half-assed.
On Thursday morning I went to Mega and ran into Jun at the bookstore. We picked the gifts for the birthday stars, then walked around and talked then went to Grazie until people started to arrive.
Then we had lunch; I shared the Margarette with Abby.
After the movies we had to wait until 4 for the movie, so Ste and I went up the bookstore for a very serious discussion about children's books.
At 4, we met up with everyone else, and we entered the theater to watch 'The Blind Side'. At one scene Sandra Bullock wasn't wearing a bra.It was a pretty nice movie, and when we finished, we went to have dinner. We messed around with Jesika's Polaroid and listened to the Coldstone people sing.
When we finally decided to leave, we went to the Mac store and here's the part where we acted like we owned the place. Our people were singing and dancing while the guy at the counter attempted to sell my phone to Shawn. D:
Then, we left Mega.. only to walk into a light drizzle and frighteningly cold wind. Some smart person said "我們來玩紅綠燈" and one thing led to another; soon we were on the floor tired and chilled to death from running around like idiots screaming and laughing because someone just couldn't keep his pants on. Finally we just huddled in a circle in the middle of the plaza at the front of Mega and ignored the onlookers.
When we finally decided to call it a night, eight of us piled into Jesika's sedan and soon we were at UK's. Needless to say, it was a hell of a car ride that involved a lot more screaming and laughing.
At UK's, it wasn't long before we got into the hysterical mood again. It only took a dangerous mission that involved a crustacean hanging at the edge of life and death. By the time we got that done, Sandy has bruised herself and Ting Wen has performed a good deed.
It was a fun thing to watch.

Then, we went up to UK's room. Andy called to say goodnight. And, because we can't help it, we talked until six in the morning and slept until waaaay into the afternoon. Our conversation involved people who were asleep and people who lost their voices and people who woke up and people who found their voices again. Nevertheless, it was eventful and interesting and we had a hell of a time.
The next day we met Mean Mr Barney on our way to brunch/afternoontea at Tenya. When we finished Jill made a prank call, and we went to SJJ to walk and talk and take sticky photos in reminisce of our middle school days. Jill also happened to be beaten up and sent to a hospital, only too bad Josh didn't care, so we had to turn him down when he offered us some G蛋糕.
That night I got home at around 10, watched a few episodes of Sex and the City, then went to bed at 2.
Just now I went back and read what I wrote about the first sleepover we had, and it's the strangest feeling to see how I've become who I am.
When I read that entry, I thought, "How juvenile I was." But I was only in ninth grade.
So I have flaws and imperfections. So I've made some pretty stupid choices along the way. And if someone asked me if I would redo things if I could go back, of course I'd say yes.
But I'm also content with who I am right now.
I like knowing that I am a different person from who I used to be.

And most of all, I absolutely love all the people who helped me to become who I am.
