1023推Leica兩個活動
1.活動之一:
台北國際數位攝影器材暨影像大展又將到來，今年興華拓展也將協助展出及參與活動。
開幕當天10/30 (五) 開幕典禮 徠卡將為M型古董相機做經典回顧，並再次展示百萬相機S2。
此外，這次我們特地邀請到專職攝影記者- 王志偉來與大家分享使用M9的技巧與心得，
他使用M型相機所拍攝的攝影作品–「台北10個女人的故事」也將在攝影教室內介紹，
與大家分享Leica M9相機捕捉躍動瞬間，敬邀各位攝影愛好者一同參與。
2009 展覽期間，興華拓展安排鏡頭拭鏡筆品牌LESPEN原廠副總裁Mr. Peter Meurrens 來台，每日為您做鏡頭清潔解說。
相關鏡頭保養知識，Mr. Peter Meurrens也會於攝影教室活動內與大家做說明。

We're very excited to announce the winners of the first annual Lens Culture International Exposure Awards.
The Portfolio Award goes to Italian photographer Marco Vernaschi, for his powerful project on the consequences of drug trafficking in the small West African country of Guinea-Bissau. His series presents a disturbing, visceral look at a country and people torn apart by the international drug trade, "where our fears meet the truth".
<small>The team of soldiers who executed the President, photographed 7 hours after they accomplished their task, in the Military Headquarters in Bissau. The President was shot to death and slaughtered with a machete in his kitchen. Vieira, who ruled this small African nation for nearly a quarter century, was killed upon order of a few generals who are trying to make new alliances with drug cartels in order to transform the country into a military controlled point of shipment, where no force would be allowed to interfere. © Marco Vernaschi, 2009</small>
1st prize in the Single Image category went to American photographer Brad Moore for his quirky architectural image of a Korean Methodist church in Fullerton, California. Stella Johnson won 2nd prize for her photograph of several generations of women in the town of Mytilene, Greece. British photographer Laura Pannack took 3rd prize for her compassionate portrait of a teenage male suffering from anorexia.

1839當代藝廊於今年四月成立以來，至今半年皆展出國外攝影藝術家為主，其目的是著眼於推動攝影教育與國際接軌，11月份起本藝廊將展出成立後首位國內攝影藝術家陳敬寶先生的近期創作－台灣地景「天上人間」系列，實踐1839當代藝廊成立初衷的經營理念：立足台灣、放遠全球、推廣台灣攝影藝術為志業，今後也將陸陸續續推出中青代的攝影藝術家，敬請拭目以待。
