結婚習俗 - 南北差異

女方---宴客北部只請訂婚一次,南部會請訂婚(規模較小頂多幾桌)+歸寧(規模不輸結婚),訂婚宴時菜上到魚男方就得離開,而且得悄悄的走
但有的人家就不在乎這點,台南嫁女兒一定要嫁妝一牛車
客家人嫁女兒則有男燈及女燈的習俗,而[小聘]的名稱,南部稱為[娘母錢]以台語發音
