Where is happiness?
I'm reading a book called "The Geography of Bliss" by Eric Weiner. It's about a journey for searching "happiness."
The author went to different countries and experienced diverse cultures, trying to understand why people in those societies are content and what are the constitutive elements of happiness.
I am, too, looking for happiness, this seemly easy concept but actually quite difficult to reach.
Are millionaires happy? Are people having nothing to do, like me happy?
Not all people in poverty are unhappy...and maybe even happier than Bill Gates...
Happiness is such an undefined, abstract, and sometimes counterintuitive thing...there isn't really a formula of happiness i think.
I construe happiness is a life experience - our own philosophy of life.
If I were to weigh myself on the scale of happiness, I think I might weigh less than 100 pounds...bad???
I guess the way I approached happiness might be wrong - searching for something makes me happy...
Maybe I should look back into myself and find my happiness there...
