This integration is a downright privacy invasion, forcing us to input false info just to get by signing up a Yahoo account. I signed up for a VIP Wretch account, not Yahoo, and they did not ask for this much information. This is absolutely bullshit. Why does Yahoo force us to input ID/Passport number? Why force people to input their education level, occupation, how much they make? It's a bullshit scam to sell (read: accidentally leak) personal information to companies that create all those email spam, that and in case certain agencies need to know who said any keywords linking to terrorist activities (aka "anarchist cookbook, hacker, bomb, weapon selling, Iraq, Iran, Taliban, Oklahoma bombing, 911, gerbil up Richard Gere's butt, China have 1000 mid-range missiles pointed at Taiwan at all times, J-Lo's got a an ass Sir Mixalot would be proud of, baking soda+vinegar+red coloring makes for pretty ugly science project lava spoo, 4chan, 4chan, 4chan, ...")
not to mention, the FAQ on how to integrate accounts, and the actual login process are completely different. if you check the integration picture process information, and try to login via wretch.cc, you won't come to the same page. i was forced to first open a Yahoo account, then try to login to this blog via the Wretch.cc login portal, just to get to the integration page. It'll be confusing as hell for those who haven't used a computer long.
Preordered since March 12, I got the book from HK. Times Square "Page One" around 10am yesterday, and finished first read today 6pm. Completely captured by the story, and am sad it's finally over.
without revealing any details, i think the descriptions and some scenes moved too slowly, while important plot elements (perhaps due to deaths involved), were brushed off. this i believe was partly due to the nature of being a children's book, but because it was merely noted, it made those character's death seem unimportant, and i am somewhat resentful of the way it's presented, even with the scenes later about burials and memories.
