2009年是伊東的演藝生命轉折點，因為在2009年11月，伊東美咲與遊戲製造商京樂產業的老闆榎本善紀在夏威夷奉子成婚，因此逐漸淡出藝能界，只拍廣告，今後是否繼續演戲要視身體情況而定。
