Mars Cumberland Was Smeared with Blood.

Mars rover Curiosity's second drilling site,Cumberland, was smeared with the blood of a mammal:

Mars Concrete Pavements Mixed with Cellular Fossils.

Around 3.5 billion years ago Martians built concrete pavements by the Yellowknife Bay in Gale Crater (note 1). Before Martians died out around 3 billion years ago, the concrete pavements and dead organisms were weathered. Both disintegrated into small particles and mixed together to form mudstones. Mars rover Curiosity's SAM has analyzed Martian dust and mudstone for eight times now. Results show the samples produced carbon dioxide that  had come from carbonate/organics (note 2). Carbonate is the chief constituent of limestone, Portland cement and concrete pavements (note 3). The organics came from cellular fossils (note 4).

Found on Mars: 1.6-mm “Plastic Wrapper”?

Not long ago NASA made public the sizes of pixels for microscopies taken by Mars rover Curiosity. So, I checked the diameter of the “plastic wrapper” and found it is only 1.6 millimeter across (see http://mars.jpl.nasa.gov/msl/multimedia/raw/?rawid=0065MH0243000008C0_DXXX&s=65 ). How could such small wrapper be exposed to heat and melted during Curiosity’s landing? How could neurons and blood vessel remains be found on the “plastic wrapper” (see http://www.wretch.cc/album/show.php?i=lin440315&b=20&f=o1556465278.jpg&p=227 )? Why did NASA choose not to zap the “plastic wrapper” with laser beams of ChemCam on board the rover?

Martian Neurons Were Huge.

Not long ago, NASA made public the pixel sizes of microscopies taken by Mars rover Curiosity. So, I checked the sizes of some Martian neuron remains. The Martian neurons were about 300 to 600 microns across (seehttp://www.wretch.cc/album/show.php?i=lin440315&b=20&f=1556451257&p=222). Although Earthly neurons range from 3 to 3,000 microns across, those Martian neurons were huge as human neurons range from 3 to 100 microns across.

So, this is a rock on Mars?

Paleontologists Use No Chemistry to Identify Fossils.

Most paleontologists do not use chemistry to identify something as a fossil. They do not use any chemical elements or molecules to identify something as a fossil. Instead, they use images to visually identify fossils. For example, the authors of the article mentioned below identified tissue fossils with images only:   Quote from an article abstract (note 1):

“Exceptionally detailed soft tissues have been identified within the fossilized feces of a large Cretaceous tyrannosaurid. Microscopic cord-like structures in the coprolitic ground mass are visible in thin section and with scanning electron microscopy. The morphology, organization, and context of these structures indicate that they are the fossilized remains of undigested muscle tissue.”

So, morphology, organization and context are enough for identification of the said fossils.

Martian Limb Bones Revisited

Martian animal’s forelimb bones, including humerus, radioulna, carpals, metacarpals and phalanges: http://www.wretch.cc/album/show.php?i=lin440315&b=20&f=1556742578&p=348

NASA’s raw image: http://mars.jpl.nasa.gov/msl/multimedia/raw/?rawid=0186MR0927041000E1_DXXX&s=186

Compare it with Earthly forelimb bones:

http://www.transtutors.com/homework-help/biology/skeletal-system/fore-limb-bones.aspx

Sizes of the bones can be calculated from scale bar at  http://www.wretch.cc/album/show.php?i=lin440315&b=20&f=1556756148&p=356

Added on April 26: Martian Limb Bones Were 1 to 3 Millimeters Across.

I tried to calculate the sizes of the Martian limb bones mentioned above (see http://www.wretch.cc/album/show.php?i=lin440315&b=20&f=1556763704&p=365 and http://www.wretch.cc/album/show.php?i=lin440315&b=20&f=1556742578&p=348 ). If the calculations are correct, the fossilized bones were one to three millimeters across. However, I am not sure if the calculations are correct or not.

Rock Veins Cannot Look Like Blood Vessels.

Wikipedia says “In geology, a vein is a distinct sheet-like body of crystallized minerals within a rock.”(note 1). So, rock veins cannot be tube-like. In fact, no mechanism enables geologic fractures to form branching, curvy and tapering minute tubes, such as these blood vessel remains, found by Mars rover Opportunity: http://www.wretch.cc/album/show.php?i=lin440315&b=20&f=1556763699&p=360

Source of image: http://marsrovers.jpl.nasa.gov/gallery/all/1/m/3200/1M412275798EFFBW__P2955M2M1.HTML

The objects measure less than 1 mm in diameter, as the width of image is 3.2 centimeters.

Note 1: See first sentence in Wikipedia article on geological veins: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vein_(geology)
