New Year's Resolution
What is your New Year's resolution?
Actually, I’m not really a big fan of New Years Resolutions for years. Doing something new on Jan 1st seems kinda arbitrary to me. For one thing, if I want to do something, I just do it. I don’t need a random date to start it. That said, I have maybe a couple of New Years Resolutions. It has more to do with the fact that I’m not young anymore than a random resolution. Every year around this time, people look back on the year that was and make promises or resolutions to improve themselves and the world around them. Then I always decide to do something that felt “GREAT” by myself. So-called “New Year’s Resolutions.” But the reality is that some of the hopes must be delayed or worse cancelled by many things I encountered on following days. So I learn my lessons for not to make the excessive wishes because all the hopes need the steady steps to reach,, regardless of that how slow it will be. Recently I’ve received emails with this quotation relating to women should value and love themselves and make their life a better one. 'May today there be peace within. May you trust that you are exactly where you are meant to be. May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith in yourself and others. May you use the gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you. May you be content with yourself just the way you are. Let this knowledge settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love. It is there for each and every one of us.' I felt so inspired so I’m going to be the change I wish to see in the world.
Whether we stick to it or not, most of us begin a new year resolved to do better in some way.
