Famous Movie Quotes(2)

If I'm not back in five minutes... wait longer!-- Ace Ventura : Pet Detective
You certainly should hear “If I’m not back in 5 minutes, call the police or get help.”
It’s sure hilarious when Jim Carrey said it.You might have seen a housefly, maybe even a superfly, but I bet you ain't never seen a donkey fly! - - Eddie Murphy (Shrek)
If you live to be a hundred, I want to live to be a hundred minus one day, so I never have to live without you. -- Who could have ever imagined it was Winnie the Pooh said that? But I can’t say this to my cats, who will take care of them then!
The flower that blooms in adversity is the most rare and beautiful of all. –-
Yes, Mulan is the perfect example.
"No, of course I like you. It's because I like you, I don't want to be with you. It's a complicated...emotion. - Marlin" - -- Finding Nemo, the way of saying this sure makes things difficult to understand.
One of my favorite movie quotes of all time is the review from food critic Anton Ego from Ratatouille. His review was like this:

“In many ways, the work of a critic is easy. We risk very little, yet enjoy a position over those who offer up their work and their selves to our judgment.
We thrive on negative criticism, which is fun to write and to read. But the bitter truth we critics must face is that in the grand scheme of things, the average piece of junk is probably more meaningful than our criticism designating it so.
But there are times when a critic truly risks something and that is in the discovery
and defense of the new. The world is often unkind to new talent, new creations, the new needs friends.
Last night, I experienced something new, an extraordinary meal from a singularly unexpected source.
To say that both the meal and its maker have challenged my preconceptions about fine cooking is a gross understatement. They have rocked me to my core.
In the past, I have made no secret of my disdain for Chef Gusteau's famous motto, "Anyone can cook." But I realize only now do I truly understand what he meant.
Not everyone can become a great artist, but a great artist can come from anywhere.
It is difficult to imagine more humble origins than those of the genius now cooking at Gusteau's, who is, in this critic's opinion, nothing less than the finest chef in France .
I will be returning to Gusteau's soon, hungry for more.”
The voice acting by Peter O’toole really makes entire review different and memorable.
Mission Possible :
例:慾望師奶(Desperate Housewives) 內有一句 「It’s no brain surgery.」, 這句話不能直譯成 「並非腦部手術」而是 「It’s no big deal.」
總歸一句話,學英文就得花時間,there is no shortcut.
