first trip to America

i should have written this article a week ago
but because of the jet lag (that's an excuse)
alright.....i was just being lazy

It wasn't so frightening as I had expected after I stepped on the land of the United States
My English is not so bad
not good enough...but it's OK
Shawnee is where my school is located
a small town in Oklahoma
maybe as big as Keelung City...i guess
but the population is only about 8000 people...
if what i remember is correct...
people here maybe are not open minded like people in big cities
but they are very friendly...and also religious
it's beautiful here gross and trees are everywhere
they don't have sky high buildings...
but their houses are various and beautifuli
wish someday i could have a house like that in Taiwan.
the streets are clean...u can hardly see trash on them
and they drive so carefully and politely...
definitely not like people in Taiwan
basically...if u want to visit Oklahoma...
u don't have much to see...(except tornadoes)
but it's a great environment for people to live

my homestay family is the Robinsons
Tyron is the father, Wanda is the mother
Jordan is 17, and Jasmine is 13
they are very nice...
i feel like at home immediately
i really like themt
hough i'd only stay for 8 weeks
i think i'll feel so sad when the day i have to say goodbye
maybe some drops of tears....ha ha
I've met many friends from different countries in SEI
like Brazil, Korea, Japan, Panama, Africa, Saudi Arabia
Asians are way more than i thoght
but they are all quite friendly...
kind of different from what i knew about them
I think i will make many good different friends here
wish myself good luck...ha ha
