比利和他的哥哥大衛在同一個班，一天老師分派他們寫一篇作文，題目是「我的媽媽」。大衛寫好後比利拿去抄了一遍。第二天老師問比利︰「為什麼你的作文和大衛的一模一樣？」比利回答說︰「我們媽媽是同一個人，不是嗎？」
