*early bird 

    -> someone who likes to rise early in the morning

Ex. 

 1. I've always been an early bird. I rarely (很少、罕見地) get up after six o'clock in the morning.

* night owl 

  
-> someone who likes to stay awake late at night
Ex.
    1. It's easy for Ivan to study until three in the morning. He's always been a night owl


* live it up

   -> to enjoy life by spending money freely
 
Ex.
    1. The Pierces go to Las Vegas once a year and live it up in the best hotel suite available.

Grammar/Usage Notes : The pronoun it cannot  be changed or removed.

* have a ball

   -> to enjoy oneself greatly, to have pleasure 就是 have a good time

Ex.
    1. Thanks so much for inviting us to the party. We really had a ball.

* party animal

   -> someone who likes to have fun often

Ex.
    1. Ivan had become such a party animal that he failed two classes.
