Ensure the rights of unemployed middle and advance age’
Many labors of middle and advance ages who are reaching the age of resign from office
without proper job can not apply Labor Pension because age and work seniority do not
reach the standard when companies move aboard, bankrupt, or dismiss employees.
There are three necessary conditions to apply Labor Pension include age, work seniority,
and regardless of working or retired. According the Labor Pension Act, dismissed labors
include voluntary and involuntary unemployment whose work seniority is over fifteen years
but age is not qualified can reinsure with original company, business association,
or Bureau of Labor Insurance to pay 80% financial burden of employees until the qualified age.
Except general injury and disease benefit, there is no change. The question is,
unemployed labors have to pay four times insurance premium than employed.
It is obvious without considering unemployed labors’ financial difficulties.
I suggest that unemployed labors over middle age can get salary and job certificate with labor service,
and than join vocational association as proprietary. They can insure Labor Pension legally
and request application to claim pension payment while reaching qualified age that work seniority will not be a problem.
