School Uniforms or Not
School Uniforms or Not
Whether dressing school uniforms or not has been discussed for a long time. Some schools proposed a policy that students need to wear school uniforms, the primary and second school especially. However, some schools gave the freedom of choosing dressing to students which is like the students in university. Advantages and disadvantages can be discussed for dressing school uniforms.
Global warming
The topic we discussed is global warming, and we watch the video which is called six degrees could change the world two. The video stated the raise degrees from four to six. First, the ocean (sealevel) will raise, and it first impacted “Scandanavia” in which included the northern Europe such as Norway, Denmark, Sweden. Finland, Iceland, and Switzerland are also included. If it arises degrees, it will cause “dry out” and “flooding”. Flooding is like the tsunami, but so big. If the flooding came into Taiwan, our houses will inundate by flood. Furthermore, if it raises degrees, our arable land will be reduced. The lands were so dry out that we are not able to cultivate. That is, we will lose a lot of crops. Second, if it raises five degrees, the ice from snow cap will melt into glacial meltwater. We also talked about the delta which means a place where a river fans out and in where often having fertile land and high population density. We just know a little about the risk. However, how much we can’t know? If the traditional social system breaks down, what can we do…? Third, if it raises six degrees, the deserts will expand. Then, our world will become a wasteland which means a desolate place where nothing can grow and it is hard to survive. Moreover, the aquifer will dry out. An aquifer refers to the ground water, and it will disappear when the temperature is higher.
