"I was so impressed with his ability to memorize his lines!"
by Kyo(u)ko Fukada, actress
She worked with him in his first Japanese seriesd drama
'Kamisama mou sukoshi dake'. According to her, they enjoyed reading same
comics and played games together during the shooting.
Q: How come you're so good at memorizing things, especially dialogues?
A: Oh, it's a lie! She must be saying a sarcasm!? If she really meant it, it just
because I don't memorize as it's written in the script!!(lol)
Q: You've told me that you're going to visit Okinawa, where your origin is, on your
birthday. Did you really make it?
A: I'm 1/4 Okinawan and have been thinking of visiting there some day, and
finally, I made it, yes!! In fact is, my classmates in Junior High School in Taipei
went to Okinawa for their school tour. As I couldn't go with them at that ime,
so many things came up in my mind when I finally got there..."Oh, my friends
were also here some years ago, or somthing of the sort..."
Q: Did you get the license of a Motor Bike(bigger size, I guess)?
A: Failed....tryed twice and failed them all...
Q: Has your impression of Kyoko(she calls herself like this!) been changed from
the beginning to the end of the shooting?
A: Sorry, but I rarely have the first impression, as I had a heavy(bad) hung over
on that day we first met. But after we got to know each other, I thought you're
surely a nice girl.
Q: Do you still keep the 'mini-Polaroid' pic we took together, with you?
A: Of course I have.
Q: Do you think I'll become a ' Ii onna(pronounce as e-on nah, means nice woman)
in the next five years?
A: You're already a 'Ii onna' right now.
"A rare talented handsom guy with a comical charm."
by Catline(?) Ayako, a comic book writer.
She was so impressed by his Japanese abilty while sh's watching
he talks in a 'late at night' TV show. And after that, she heard a rumor that he
wears nothing but undershorts when he relaxes at home, which made her like
(love) him more.
Q: Your comical performance in commercial films are outstanding! Which do you
feel more suitable for you to be yourself, a comical or a serious acting?
A: I rather prefer to be in a comical...? But I'd rather let the audience to make a
decision.
Q: In which language you're thinking more in your mind? And in your dream,
which language you're using?
A: Well.....I'm not sure...but I wanna know 'IT'.
Q: I saw you, eating your 'hated' pineapple in a TV show, and what did you feel
about it?
A: Was so hard for me. But, I'm telling you, I'm improoving day by day, and now
I overcome it and can eat pineapple with no trouble.
"I heard that you're so busy. Are you playing around OK, as you're
supposed to be?"
by Hana, a model & talent(?)
In a Saturday TV show named 'Kings Brunch', she gave him an interview on the movie
'Sleepless Town'. At that time, she baked some cookies and
brought them to him putting in a 'Prada' paper bag. After he took out the cookies,
he gave back the 'Prada' paper bag to her. As she herself is a mixed blood of
Taiwan, China and Japan, she has been watching him with a sence of some
closeness towards him.
Q: Where do you usually play when you are in Japan? Is there any recommended
spot in Taiwan?
A: Hu, hu, hu....a secret.(the spot in Japan) In Taiwan, those 'Yatai'(eating stand?)
is the best place to enjoy Taiwanese foods. One of the most exciting feelings of
the trip is to roam and find the best place by yourself.
Q: I understand that you're so busy. But do you still have time to play around with
your friends?
A: I do, whenever it's possible. But getting hard these days. And I feel little sorry
for them as they have to choose 'not so popular' places for us to get together.
