英文自傳
Yi-Ren Hsu, Little Winter, and Peanut, all of these three are my names. Of course, Yi-Ren is my real name. I was born in winter, therefore Little Winter becomes my nickname. Peanut is a specific nickname called by my grand mother. I am very close with my grand mother. My grand mother was the one who brough me up and took care of me before I went to kindergarten. When I was in kindergarten, I was so much attracted so much by the variety of the life in kindergarten. My teach in kindergarten said I was always going around here and there to see different things just like a butterfly. When I entered to primary school, my mother started training me to do some housekeeping works. As a matter of fact, my mother is very good at housekeeping. She always keep our house very clear and well organized. However, she believes that kids have to be trained to share some works at home from young. This will make the kids to know how to contribute to the society after grown up.
When I was young, I was always very slow. However, after some training at sharing some housekeeping works, I improved my speed gradually and finished the tasks I was assigned step by step. At very beginning, I was slack on doing those works, but my mother always insisted me to take care of every thing very seriously. After a long training, my mother finally felt confident on my capability. Now she always feel comfortable to let me take care of some tasks on my own. I have a brother who is 3 years younger than me and a pair of twin sisters who are two and half year old only. I helped my mother a lot to take care of these twins when they were little babies. Now, they are very attached to me. They are always very excited when they see me. I think I am a semi-qualified "professional" baby-sitter now. I am very proud of this.
When I entered to junior high school, I was very interested in computer. My father is a scientist for Solar Energy. He is always my role model. I've been learning a lot of computer technologies from my father. That was why I decided to choose Computer Science as my major when I entered senior high School. I studied in Kuang Fu when I was in junior high. I was very familiar and confident with Kuang Fu. Therefore, when I was at the age to go to senior high school, I decided to enter to the computer science of Kuang Fu Senior High School. Our teachers are all very nice, especially the teacher of our class. He is very kind and warm. He helped us to overcome a lot of difficulties. I really appreciate what he has taught and given us in these three years. I served in school as a student guard for discipline for 3 years. I learned a lot of things in these 3 years' service. Under the assistance of our master, I learned a lot and helped other schoolmates a lot of things too. I am happy to be able to make some contribution to my school.
Time flies. Three years of high school life is coming to the end. It's time for me to move forward to next stage. I know I am not a quick learner and I am not outstanding on my academic performance. But I am always studying very hard and always very willing to help others. I really hope that your university will accept a young man like me. I might not be outstanding on academic works in University, but I am very confident that I will be studying as hard as before and I will be as nice as before to help others.
