17/11/09 tue At The Airport



Newspaper mentioned that Korean stars Byun Woo Min, James Kim, Lee Seul, Jang Nara and a few other stars would be arriving today at 2.35pm. Met up with J at T3 to have lunch first. At the arrival hall, we saw few groups of teenage girls. They told us a guy from Dong Bang Shin Ki was probably coming too. I thought me and J would be the youngest there but turned out we were the oldest. Lol. At abt 3pm, the stars came out. We only saw Woo Min and Lee Seul. WM was wearing a mask so we couldn't see his face. But he was quite friendly and kept nodding to all of us. LS was wearing sunglasses and I didn't know that was her until they left in their van and J's friend told us. Me and J were the only ones who walked with them to their van. When WM was seated, we waved to him, feeling rather silly and he kept waving and nodding to us. We went back home after this.

18/11/09 wed At Bishan J8



At first I didn't feel like going to J8 'cause I was alone and WM didn't attract me at all. But since J8 is quite near and I had nothing to do, I decided to drop by to help J get his autograph on the drama dvds "Wife's Temptation" (p.s: J changed her mind last min and told me dun need to help her get the dvds). There were only 10 fans before the event started. I got to know this very pretty and friendly girl called Audrey who lives in Australia (parents are Singaporeans) and just came back to take part in a beauty contest. She is indeed very gorgeous looking and I can see that she has the potential of becoming a celebrity. She saw the Poh Kim shops advertising that WM was coming so she decided to come down, hoping to take a pic with him. I bought a set of the dvd cos my mum likes watching this type of drama.


I tried to look for his profile on the internet but could only found that he had acted in HK movie "Seoul Raiders" and Hollywood movie "Bulletproof Monk". I felt sorry for him as he was wearing 2 long-sleeved shirts and the weather was sweltering hot.





The a.s was supposed to start at 1.30pm but it was delayed till 2.10pm. When WM arrived, I was very shocked and surprised to see Lee Seul and James Kim came too! I went to airport wanting to see James but he didn't take the same flight as them. Wow, he's very handsome in person!!! WM went up the stage and said something in english (sorry I wasn't really concentrating on his speech as I was busy looking at James). Me and Aud noticed that LS and JK were just standing behind us doing nothing so we approached them and asked if we could take pics with them. They looked quite surprised and delighted. After we did so, other fans started to do the same. By now, there were 30+ fans. I saw a guy distributing the stars' postcards so we took a set each from him. Unfortunately, he wouldn't give me extra sets so I could give to J and Juana. We gave them the postcards to sign. They really took their time and signed the cards sincerely. Me and Aud went back to the front of the stage and listened to WM's singing (must show respect to the main star). After singing, he started signing and taking pics with the fans. He was quite funny. Some of the fans asked him to pose 'act cute' poses and he did his best to act cute. Lol. He also took his time to sign his name carefully and wrote down the fans' names. The event ended at 3pm and they rushed off since the last a.s was at City Square Mall, 3pm.

About 3 weeks before Minho came to spore, Etude had a scratchcard promo - spent $15 and you could win a ticket to his private gathering at St James. Out of 3000 cards, only 130 cards were the winning cards. 100 '1 kitten' cards (ordinary tix), 20 '2 kittens' cards (tix + autograph), 8 '3 kittens' cards (tix + question & answer) and 2 '4 kittens' cards (tix + photograph with Minho). I spent about $80 and got 5 cards but all turned out to be the 'Sorry' cards. Oh well, at least I've gotten Christmas presents for my buddies and received 2 posters + 4 folders.



As I thought I had no luck this time and had given up all hopes, a miracle happened! At the last min, I managed to go to his gathering!!! I was jumping with joy and nearly burst out crying. It was lucky that I decided not to go to the airport and Plaza Sing to see him cos from what I read online, the event at PS was cancelled due to too many fans in the mall!







At Movida, it was about 3/4 full and could probably accomodate 50+ more people. I guess that the organiser and the venue owner didn't want the place to be too packed (might be dangerous) so they didn't give out more tickets through the promo. I got a nice, comfy spot to take pics. Sadly, due to my very shaky hands, quite a no of pics turned out blurry but it's ok! At least I got to see him quite near for about 1 hr without having to squeeze with other fans. I am already very lucky compared to those who waited at PS for long hrs but din get to see him at all (my sympathies are with you... know how upset you all must have felt). The event started at about 5.30pm. It was mainly Q&A session with the host Liyi and 3 or 4 lucky winners going up the stage to ask him questions and seized their chances to take pics with him. Minho also picked another 4 winners from a bowl to go on stage to receive special prizes. They too took the chance to take pics with him. Caused quite a lot of screamings from the fans. Minho's really shy but was very nice to all the fans. He took care in turning every direction so we all could see and wave to him. He's very cute and more boyish-looking in person. At 6.30pm, those who had ordinary tix were escorted out by the security. The 50 VIPs and 20 winners stayed behind for the autograph session. Minho left at abt 7pm and went to a korean restaurant to have dinner. 


2 hrs later, his coach actually passed by the Singapore Flyer but left after turning one round at the drop-off point. He went back to the hotel and we managed to catch a glimpse of him when he alighted from the coach. 



I had a wonderful time and made some new friends. A big thank you to my lovely friends (you know who you are) who had helped me!! 

Last month, I had gotten back the 2 exams results which I took in June. I got Distinction for both modules! WOOHOO!!!! The 3 exams which I took last month were ok. I hope I will pass the PS. I think I can pass BA and WP. One last exam in next yr march. I also finally got the FRH autographed book which I ordered 2 months ago. 


This book was autographed in Taiwan when FRH had a book-signing session. Above pic is the box cover.



This set comes with 4 different books - each guy had their own book. I still haven't had time to read yet.

I believe everyone has read about the Taiwan typhoon which destroyed tens of thousands of homes and claimed hundreds of lives. Many are still missing so the death toll will probably rise. In last night wanbao, there was a guy who lost his entire family overnight - a total of 10 members. It is devasting to see such sad news. I cant help but think how fortunate we are to be born in Singapore where there is no natural disaster. 

Besides human beings, the animals are also suffering from this terrible disaster. According to Animal Rescue Team Taiwan, more than 10 dog shelters had been destroyed and hundreds of dogs and cats dead. Many more are in peril as there is a severe lack of food, water, shelter and medical supplies. Sadly it seems that the media and civil defense are not concerned about them. The Rescue Team desperately needs financial aid from the public to carry out rescue mission (involves buying of supplies, renting of machines to repair and clean up the shelters etc). 几经周折，我们找到了发帖的网友李微漪。

8月24日早晨，家住紫荆北路的李微漪和朋友相约取道西门去爬青城山。7时30分，出租车经过武阳大道川茂路口站时，李微漪发现前方马路超车道有两个小点，“可能是被压死的小狗。”李微漪赶紧提醒的哥减速。

车近了，果然是两条小狗，一条白狗倒在地上，一动不动，一条黄狗趴在白狗身边。车从狗狗的左边绕了过去。李微漪看了黄狗一眼，黄狗也在盯着她，眼里充满了感激和无助。

车往前开，李微漪在后视镜注意到，黄狗不断用双脚刨着白狗。黄狗无助的眼神，在李微漪的脑中挥之不去，她让司机马上回去，“不然自己会后悔一辈子”。

司机折了回去，李微漪注意到，才几分钟，黄狗已经把白狗移动了2米，移到了行车道上。躺在地上的是条母狗，而守候在她身边的，是条公狗。李微漪心里震动了一下。

她赶紧把身上的相机掏出来，对着小狗拍摄。李微漪是名职业画家，随身携带着相机收集素材。小狗不断地摇着尾巴，显得很友善。李走过去，抱着白狗往人行道上拎。令她意外和感动的是，黄狗也伸出前脚，合力将小狗“抬”到路边。

李微漪将母狗放在窨井盖上，黄狗围绕在母狗的身边，不停地用双脚刨着母狗，他斜着头，头部依偎着母狗的颈部。

一名路过的中年男子走过来，用脚蹭了蹭地上的白狗，黄狗见状，张着嘴，对着中年男子狂叫，男子吓得赶紧走了。黄狗走到白狗身边，爱怜地用舌头舔男子蹭过的毛发。

随后，李微漪通知了一名朋友前来帮忙。李微漪试图将白狗装进纸箱，但黄狗不肯。他呜呜咽咽地把白狗鼻子和嘴上的血迹舔干净，把她摇来摇去难舍难分，直到最后绝望。那种痛苦的表情，看得李微漪十分心酸。终于，朋友将白狗轻轻装进了纸箱，李微漪在一旁抚摸着黄狗安抚它。

朋友开着宝马车，将黄狗和死去的母狗一起拉到双流黄甲一家农家乐。一路上，黄狗晕车吐得一塌糊涂，但他依然不时对着后备厢里的白狗悲伤地哀嚎着。

挣脱绳索 它守候在爱人坟前

“我给他火腿肠，他咬下一半，往她的嘴里塞，我给他水喝，他匆匆含一口喂他的妻子，爱侣没有任何反应，他沮丧地躺下，头颈相依，眼神中散落无限哀伤。在这个快速发展的时代，有多少动物们为公路殉葬，有多少动物成为现代文明的牺牲品。”

挖好坑，黄狗一直守在母狗旁，下葬时，黄狗在一旁哀伤地看着。下葬后，小狗在坟的周围，翘着腿尿了几个“记号”。

农家乐老板家有只小母狗，对新来的黄狗很亲热，但刚刚痛失爱侣的黄狗却无动于衷。

李微漪离开时，黄狗要撵路，她用绳子拴着黄狗，塞给老板500元钱，希望老板好好待他。第二天，挂念狗狗的李微漪又到了农家乐。老板说，黄狗挣脱绳子，失踪了。

李微漪很失落，她想，小狗会不会在母狗的坟前。前一天，他还在坟前做了记号。她赶紧来到后院，果然，小狗正蹲守在母狗的坟前。

李微漪含泪把黄狗带回成都，寄养在西南民族大学附近一家宠物医院。9月2日，她将黄狗送到温江的启明小动物保护中心。

七夕上传 呼吁关爱狗狗

人们拍到地震中背负自己妻子的男人就认为忠贞不渝，而小狗在呼啸的车流中，以自己柔弱身躯为爱人庇护又是何等的感情，感情没有高低贵贱，我们有着一样的感受，只是我们不懂得理解他们，或许不屑于理解他们。

李微漪把这段视频传给了湖北熟悉电脑的朋友，朋友熬了一个通宵，制作好视频。

李微漪说，选择《好一对‘狗男女’》作为视频的标题，是他们有意为之的。平常，人们用“猪狗不如”之类的词语，来骂很差劲的人，她就是要“贬词褒用”，让大家看看现实中还有如此的“狗男女”！

目前，这段视频被网友们疯狂转载，点击率超过百万。李微漪说，选择七夕情人节那天上传，是因为她坚信真爱不单单是人类的专利，真爱属于一切生命。

现在，这只重情义的小狗，还生活在启明小动物保护中心。李微漪希望好心人能为那只忠于爱情的男狗狗取个可爱的名字，呼吁有爱心的朋友领养它，因为他懂得珍惜和感激，值得我们去爱。

Quality of the posters is quite good!

Seriously, I have no idea why they want to put their add as ION 'cause the shop is located inside the Orchard mrt station, near the entrance of the underpass leading to TANGS. Me and Janice had a hard time looking for the shop inside ION. We finally found it with the help of a friendly security guard. We went there specially to buy the products and get Min Ho's poster which comes in 2 different designs. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask the staff 1st before paying whether purchasing $20 can get 2 posters. So imagine my disappointment when they told me I could only received 1 poster. Also, they refused to give us the poster which a customer before us rejected taking. STINGY!!!! I spent extra $10 for nothing *roars*. To be frank, I don't like their service which is a far cry from The Face Shop. They could have ask me whether I wanted to just purchase $10 instead of taking my card as fast as they could and swiped it before I could respond. D*MN..... 



After buying at Etude, we went to ION foodcourt to have lunch. I swear this is the 1st and last time I'm eating there. The decor was very classy BUT the food was incredibly expensive! The duck rice I bought cost $5.50 but the portion was miserably pathetic - even a cat would still feel hungry after eating. The foreigner who sat beside us saw the duck rice and asked me how much it cost. She kept shaking her head when we told her. I'm going to write a complaint letter to the food court management after my exam. 


The pieces of meat were so thin that I could swallow them without chewing *grumbles*

12/09/09 sat

My mum went to Far East to have haircut and asked me to accompany her. While she was at the salon, I walked to Etude and bought a calming mist for pimples to get the other Min Ho poster. The staff's service was better today. I received a free O2 face mask when I entered the shop. Maybe because their Korean manager was present. 



Actually I wanted to buy BB cream at first...

I read a lot of reviews online and most of them mentioned Dr G and BRTC brands are the best so I changed my mind last minute. I'm still skeptical of using Etude products. My face felt itchy after using their mask. Dunno whether it's because I eat too much chocolate lately or what... Etude BB cream cost $30-40. Very expensive. If the BB cream doesn't suit my skin, it will be a waste of money. After mum's haircut, we shopped at Orchard, Somerset and Bugis. I bought a pair of flip-flop, mum bought a dress and shawl to wear at our neighbour's daughter's wedding dinner.


I like Im@ge Fun flip-flops! They are cheap (bought this for $19 after discount), comfy and pretty!

3 more days to exams!!!! Will be studying at home like mad for the next few days >_<

On aug 22, met with Meiling and we had ice-cream & dessert buffet at Swenson ION. It was a new branch located on the 2nd level of Orchard mrt station. Thanks to Juana for the info! Had to produce the special promo leaflet (distributed at the mall) or email printout to enjoy this offer. I would recommend it to anyone who loves to eat sweet stuff. If not, you'll probably feel like vomitting after a few bites. We both felt kinda gross after finishing 3 cakes, 2 tarts, 2 chocolate marshmellows, 6 different flavors of ice-cream. We exchanged bday gifts - I received a lovely, pink, good-luck-for-your-exam pen and keychain. There was a very long queue at the ice-cream counter and we waited abt 15 mins for our turn. There were staff helping us to scoop the ice-cream. We paid abt $10 each for the buffet. As I was rushing to meet my mum, I forgot to take pics with Meiling!!! Argh, so sorry gal :(

The ice-cream was very delicious! We had fun 'decorating' it with toppings like choco chips, coco crunch, waffle biscuits, mini cookies, whipped cream etc...

A young couple were sitting at a table next to us and left when we were still eating. While we were counting how much food was left unfinished by them, Meiling noticed a handphone on their table. It was left by the lady sitting next to her. We looked through her phone's address book, hoping to find her boyfriend's no. We found it (luckily she put his name as "Boyfriend") and we called him. They came back to collect the phone. To all my friends: please do not ever leave your hp on the table!! The chances of being stolen/ lost are very high. I have a few friends who lost their hp like that. I always hang mine on a long strap around my neck or dump it into my bag. It is better to miss a few calls/ sms than to lose your hp + sim card + confidential info.

New pair of specs! I broke my 10-year-old specs so made a new one. After discount and voucher (thanks to Juana for the Spectacle Hut voucher!), paid $248 *heartpain*. The frame cost $120 while the multi-coated + UV protection + ultra thin lens cost $168. Although it's very expensive, I think it's worth it as I really love the design. 

Thanks to Daddy and Mummy for the above presents! I promise I will study very hard and get my diploma cert with good results.

On aug 27, met up with Juana for lunch at Swenson for the 1 for 1 lunch treat. We both had salmon and mushroom baked rice which was delicious. We paid abt $7 each. Thanks to Juana for the free strawberry milk shake float! It was sooooo yummy! After lunch, we went to Kinokuniya. We said goodbye at 3+pm and I walked to Cineleisure to watch The Final Destination. The movie was quite short. I think it wasn't as good as the previous 3 movies. The 'deaths' in TFD were predictable and not that thrilling. My favs are FD1 and FD2. They had some very nail-biting, scary and unexpected deaths' scenes.

Since all my friends were not free, I went to Bugis alone to catch Vic. The host Yang Jun Wei asked a few questions and gave away autographed 痞子英雄 posters. He also chose 4 people to go up stage to play games with the stars. Waited from 2.30pm to 3.30pm when the stars finally arrived. It was drizzling and yet, very warm and sunny at the same time. I was standing quite far from the stage so I was fighting like mad to take pics, avoiding the heads + hands + cams in front of me. I was drenched in sweat and sun-burnt in mins. I couldn't hear what the stars said on the stage as the speakers were not functioning well! Those at the back couldn't hear anything at all. A lot of people in front left after a while so I kept moving forward until I was few rows behind the barricades. Vic looked very shuai! Mark looks like a korean and the other female cast Ivy Chen (didn't know she came too. Thought only Vic and Mark were coming) looks like Jolin. There was another guy whom I think is the producer or director of the drama. The event ended after 15 mins.

After the event, I shopped around Bugis Junction and bought a bday gift for my friend. Then I walked to Suntec and Marina Square before leaving for home at 7.30pm.


2 weeks ago, I collected the Sony Ericsson handphone I won from SE office. Thanks again to SE and Min Jung un-ni! I still cant bear to open the packaging and use the phone. Wait till my current phone spoil then I'll use it.

I won a pair of passes for Ekin's event which took place at the Lunar Bar on 21 jul . As I had mentioned in my previous post, we saw and waved to Ekin when he arrived and left the hotel on 20 jul. On 21 jul, after sending off Michael Tse, me and Juana set off to Clarke Quay and had dinner at Central. Reached Lunar Bar at 7.30pm. It was quite empty when we went in. As the admission fee had been offset by our passes, we couldn't get seats near the stage so  we decided to stand. 



Event  supposed to start at 8pm. We waited till 9pm when it finally started. By this time, the bar was quite packed and everyone was pushing to the front. We ended up right in front the stage (no barricades at all). First they showed Feng Yun2 trailers on the big screen. Then Ekin appeared on stage and sang a cantonese song. He talked about his new movie. Most of the time he talked in cantonese. Then the host chose 5 guys onto stage to play games. The guys had to hold a jar of water in their left hands and hold it as long as they could. It was quite funny cos there was a guy who was struggling so hard to hold, his pose turned out very weird. All of them received an autographed FY2 poster. Ekin sang another cantonese song. The host JunWei wanted 5 girls to go up stage and the first 5 who climbed up could play games. Unfortunately I couldn't climb as there was a girl standing in front of me. Each girl had to say "Nie Feng" (Ekin's character name in Feng Yun) as long as possible. A girl wanted to hold Ekin's finger when saying that and when she closed her eyes, naughty Ekin and JunWei asked a security guard to substitute him. All of us were giggling non-stop. When the girlopened her eyes, she nearly died of embarrassment. Lol. They all received a calendar. Before Ekin left, he sang the theme song of Feng Yun. Event ended at around 9.55pm.

19/7/09 sun

Met up with J and Mae at 12.30pm Bugis Junction. Decided to reach earlier as I was worried that we might not be able to get the photos if we reached too late. Saw PJ and chatted with her. Also saw Janeal who came to say hi to me. Again, I failed to recognise my friend. Sorry ar Janeal! We were orginally queuing inside the barricades at 12.30pm but the stupid security chased us out. Met up with Janice and her friends at 2pm. We stood near the entrance gate till 5pm when they finally opened to let us in. VERY STUPID + DUMB + IDIOTIC of them!! Caused major chaos (nearly suffocated and died of heat due to squeezing) and some of the very latecomers at the right side pushed us to the back. Luckily we all managed to get in alive. There were only 100 photos per celebs available. Moses, Char, Sonija arrived at 6.30pm. Moses and Sonija sang 1 song each. Char didn't sing as she had sorethroat. They played the same game as last year - collect blue/red/green items from the public. I got up the stage and when collecting the photos, I shook hands with all 3 of them and said thank you. Moses's handshake was the firmest and warmest *melts*. We left Bugis and headed to their hotel.

We waited for Moses to come back. At lobby, saw Yumi and her friend Jo and they came over to chat with us. At 10+pm, the stars were back. We waved to Moses and he stopped to talk to us. I just stood quietly in front of him and let the others do the talking. He agreed to have a short gathering with us at the seats in the lobby. We could have a better gathering place. No thanks to the stupid security again. We took turns taking group pics with him. When it was me and Mae's turn, he lifted up his legs so I could walk to his left side. I was quite embarrassed so I said sorry to him. When it was Jo's turn, suddenly a large number of fans rushed to our side and when the security saw this, they cut short the gathering and rushed him back to his room. Poor Jo was so upset that she nearly cried.

20/7/09 mon

We waited at the lobby for Moses to see if we could have another proper gathering with him. Waited till 1+pm when we saw Ekin Cheng, who was here to promote Feng Yun 2. He was also staying in the same hotel as the TVB stars. We waved to him when he walked past us. He probably think we were there for him. Actually it's not. Lol. Mins later, Michael Tse arrived and we waved to him. Around 3pm, Ekin came down again and went off in a coach. Some fans wanted his autograph and he wanted to open the car window to sign. But he changed his mind and told them he would sign for them after he came back. It was until 3+pm when Mo, Mic, Char and Soni came down together and they boarded their coach. Me and Juana and the rest took cab straight to IMM to chop place 1st. We ate, chatted, did the placards to pass time. Saw Janeal was sitting alone so I went to chat with her. We screamed when we saw the Michael Miu in the E.U trailer. Today's event was better as there were no people cutting queue and we had space to stand and breathe. Like yesterday, Mo and Soni sang the same songs. Char didnt sing. Mic sang E.U theme song. He sang pretty well. We were among the 1st 10 people to go up the stage and I shook hands with all 4 of the stars. Me and Juana went home after this as we were too exhausted.


Moses picked yellow, which happened to be the colour of the tees we were wearing. The look on his face is so funny. Lol. Juana was picked to go up stage to play games with him.

21/7/09 tue

Went for Mo, Char and Soni departure in the afternoon. When they arrived, it was quite chaotic as suddenly lots of fans appeared. Juana and I managed to take pics with the 3 stars. When I passed Mo the jia you stick, he was very happy. He looked into my eyes and said "thank you" and dunno what (need to ask my friends). I was so dazed and shy that I forgot what he said. I think he loves the gift as he was holding it all the way through the check-in counter (I thought he would chuck it into his bag after I gave to him). He was using it to wave to the fans. Lol. He's so cute!! They stayed abt 30 mins to sign autographs and take pics with the fans.

Me, Juana, Janice and her friends stayed behind as we were waiting to see if Mic was taking the next flight. Luckily we stayed. Mic appeared at abt 5pm. There were only 9 fans (including us) to see him off. Felt sorry for him. We took pics with him and I got him to sign a photo which I got for Susan. Unfortunately due to my carelessness, the autograph was smudged! Sorry Susan!! We chatted with him for 15 mins outside the Bengawan shop. His assistant was inside buying goodies for him. He talked about this new movie which will be released on 20 Aug (my bday!!!). He also mentioned about Sam Gor, which he teased that Sam Gor hit him real bad in E.U. I let the others do the talking while I hid behind Janice. I was too shy to ask him anything. When he was inside the check-in counter, he was wondering which side he should proceed to. We pointed right. Actually it was left (his assistant told him). He looked confused for a while. Haha. He kept waving and smiled to us.

Below is a venting post. Can skip this part if you just want to read about the star tour.

To X: I regretted asking you along for this event. On the 1st day, you threw a temper and pulled a long face at me and my friends over a small matter. They din do it on purpose (they were very sorry about it) and they did ask you to stand in front with me no less than 5 times. You had made me very embarrassed and awkward. If she din tell me abt the hotel, and I din tell you, would you be able to take pic, talk to him and gave him a hug at departure? Would you be in his fc? The answer is no. Worse still, the 3rd day, when I heard what happened when you shared cab with her, I really felt like strangling you. I was already in bad mood as I had a fight with my mum that day. I was crying before I left the house. Without us, can you take pics with all those celebs? And yet, you were complaining non-stop about how your pimples showed up in the photos. OMG, you have pimples so of course they will show up la! I'm sick of you whining, throwing temper, complaining, pulling long face at me and my friends. I also heard what happened when you were with the other M's fc, regarding the maxicab. That time at the M's fc gathering you also did something which I felt like screaming at you. The things you did shocked me. Because of you, I feel so embarrassed and though my friends din blame me, I feel very bad that I had given them unnecessary troubles. I can't stop myself from apologising to them. From now onwards, I will never ask you along to any event. Because of you, I was in terribly bad mood for few days. If you do not know how to be grateful and be more tolerant/ understanding, that's the end of our friendship. I don't have to tolerate your childish behaviour. Don't assume you can throw your temper at me just because you are older or because I'm easily bullied.

I reached JP at 11.45am and met up with J. We bought 1 set of Alicafe each to get Fung's poster. Each set ($10) includes 2 packets of Alicafe, 1 small mug and Fung poster. I asked the staff and they said only can sign 1 poster per person. I called Susan and Janice whether they wanted the set and they said ok even though I couldn't help them get Fung's autograph. Later me and J realised that there were 2 designs of the poster so we bought another set. We also bought Fung's new album at $23 and comes with a huge poster (thanks to Juana for the info). Thanks a million to Juana, I could pass her the 4 sets and CD album I bought and she was very kind to bring them back to her house first. If not, my already very painful shoulder would have to suffer from carrying so many stuff. We stood at the front of the stage from 12+pm. Unfortunately, the queue started from the back of the stage so we decided to stand in front of the stage first to take pics. We would have been the first in line if the queue started in front. At about 3+pm, I went up the stage to play games with 3 other contestants. I thought could win big prize or get a chance to take pic with Fung. In the end, only got 1 miserable can of coffee. I really threw my face during the game (too shameful to mention here). Lol. Oh well, time passed by faster after this. 





At 8.15pm, Fung finally arrived. He spent about 15 mins talking about Alicafe, what he was doing currently. He mentioned that he will have a chinese album out soon! Woohoo!! Hope he will hold an autograph session for his chinese album. I can't remember what else he said as I was struggling to take pics and vids with 2 cams. When he sat down to sign, we squeezed through the crowd (A LOT of people there) and dashed to the back. Juana's husband had helped us queue at 6.30pm. Thanks a million to Uncle! The queue was horribly long. We all got on stage at 9.15pm. Actually the hosts had said that Fung would leave around 9pm. Luckily he didn't. Yingying talked to Fung for a few secs. A staff passed Fung a mini fan and because of them, me and J got to stand more than 10 secs in front of him. Haha. I didn't say anything to him cos I didn't know what to say and he was concentrating on signing on J's poster. Never mind. I'm already very happy that I could get his autograph cos we were mentally prepared that we couldn't get. There were still hundreds of fans queuing when we got down the stage. We were so exhausted and thirsty that we just headed straight to foodcourt to have dinner. When we left at 10pm, the event had ended. Overall the event was quite organised. The staff were friendly and the hosts kept apologising that if Fung couldn't sign all the posters, they were very sorry about it. I walked to Juana's house to collect my stuff and took cab home as I was going to faint from fatigue. Cab fare cost $18.60 *heartpain*.

The poster measures about 51cm by 76.5cm. Luckily I didn't buy earlier cos other shops didn't have the free poster.

Once again, thanks to Juana and Uncle who have helped us a lot today! Without them, we won't be able to get Fung's autograph. THANK YOU!!! :D

Went to Kbox Cineleisure to queue at 11am with J and Juana. We were the first in the line. Z Chen had a fans gathering at K Union at 1pm, followed by Sam Lee at 3pm. I saw Melody and Yvonne while waiting. At 12+pm, the kbox staff suddenly took down Z's huge poster and moved to another room. then we heard that the venue had changed to the VIP room. We hurriedly changed to queue outside the room which was just a few steps away from the K Union room. At 1.30pm, we were let in and I was quite glad they changed the room as this room was quite small - meaning we could see him very up close! The 3 of us grabbed a 3-seater sofa and settled down. About 20+ fans attended this gathering.



Z finally reached at 1.45pm. He was smaller in build than I thought. He also had a very small face. I had been waiting to see him in person for 4 years. There was a period when I only listened to english songs (I gave up on chinese pop) - that was from year 2002 to 2005. It was after I listened to Z's "Save Z Chen" album that I decided to start listening to chinese pop again. I think he was a great singer and I was not disappointed attending this gathering. He was very humorous, reacting quickly to any questions and could make jokes out of everything. His malaysian accent was also very cute. I like the part where he talked about his first love. He had us laughing most of time. It was fun listening to him talk. He sang a few songs and his live performance was as good as his recorded albums's voice. Games were played and kbox vouchers were given out. We also had a group pic taken with him. He wanted to stay longer to sign autographs and took more pics but the staff told him he had to rush off for rehearsal. The gathering ended at 2.45pm. How I wish it was longer... *sigh*. When he left, EQ Music staff asked if anyone wants to get his autograph. J passed a lady Z's latest album. The lady gave her a name card and said she would contact her when and where to collect the album.

After we left the room, I saw Shirmaine and said hi to her. I told her I really wanted to go for Sam Lee's workshop but I had family dinner at 5pm so I couldn't attend. Sam... sorry! I really wanted to see you but... *SIGH* J received sms from the lady and was told to collect back the album at xx hotel at 6.30pm. Before we left Kbox, I happened to catch a glimpse of Sam inside the K Union room. We walked around Orchard and I bought his album at Gramophone @ Takashimaya (last piece on the shelf). It was sold out HMV. I called the lady and asked her if I could pass the album to her at 6.30pm to get his autograph. She said ok and I was delighted! Very nice of her!! We went to the hotel at 6pm and sat down near the lift lobby. I had decided to forgo the family dinner (sorry grandma, mum, and dad) as I really wanted to see Z Chen again. At 6.15pm, J's sharp eyes caught sight of Z and the staff walking towards the lift lobby. As I was debating whether I should approach them, Z happened to turn his face towards us. He saw the both of us and squinted his eyes. This means he found us familiar. I smiled and waved to him excitedly. He noticed the album in my hand and used his right hand to show "you want my autograph, is it?". I nodded and ran to him. He said something like "I have to go up now. Can you wait for me to come down?" Cant remember the exact words as I was so dazed. I replied "yes, I can wait for you to come down". At this moment, one of the staff said "why not you pass to me? I'll pass back to you later". I passed her the album and they went into the lift. Me and J waited till 6.45pm when another staff finally passed us back the albums. We waited another half hour to see if Z would come down. We left at 7.15pm. Although in the end we didn't manage to wait until he came down, I was happy that I could see him. Please come back soon, Z Chen!!! Looking forward to your next album!

On june 18 before I went for Minjung's event, I met up with Susan and we had lunch at Azabu Sabo @ Marina Square, one of my most favourite restaurant. Love the ambience and the comfy decor. It is a great place if you want to have nice long chat with your friends. They have special lunch sets daily from 11.30am - 5pm.

I ordered Ginger Pork set, comes with free ice lemon tea and free flow of green tea. Big portion. Sufficient to feed a pig like me. Lol. Did I mention the soup was super nice? It's not like those ordinary miso soup.

Susan ordered Stewed Beef w/ potato set, also comes with the above free drinks.


For dessert, I had soft ice-cream with brown sugar syrup, red bean paste and jelly; Susan had soft ice-cream with green tea sauce, dumplings and red bean paste. I love their food! We spent $15 each.

I read online that they have milk tea ice-cream. I'm so gonna try that if I pass by there again!

If I strike lottery, I'll call up my friends and go there to have ice-creams feast!!

After lunch, we walked around and I went to Sasa to buy a moisterising lip balm for $12.90. Sasa has free eye-brow trimming when you purchase any item from them. I find this service very good as other make-up stores charge $13-$18 for eye-trimming.

Few weeks ago, my cousin brought our family to an open field to see fireworks display by the UK. Think it was related to the ARTS Festival. By the time we reached there, the entrance gate was nearly closed and we all dashed inside just in time (entrance was foc). It was really awesome to see fireworks so up close though the sound was deafening and frightening. Haha. Will post up the vid after I finish uploading it to youtube.

On 16 jun, I received a sms from u-weekly that I've won the pass for Minjung's private gathering at Illuma Sony Ericsson shop!!!! My gosh, couldn't believe my eyes when I saw that as there were only 10 winners and I only sent 1 sms. Btw, MJ plays the role of Lee Minho's fiance in K-drama Boys Before Flowers.

18/6/09 thur

Reached the venue at 5.15pm. I was the earliest winner to reach there. A staff wrote my name on a card and was dropped into a box. It was a lucky draw for the yet-to-launch Sony Ericsson C903 phone. Met up with Janice and we walked around since there wasn't any fans standing at the barricades. When we came back at 6pm, the place was very crowded. I got to know a few MJ fans. They were so shy and excited. When MJ was about to arrive, instead of standing at the front row to see her, they all stood at the far back of the wall. I had to keep telling them to come forward. Lol. Although it was supposed to be a closed door event, it ended up being quite 'open door'.


She has flawless skin! So smooth...

MJ arrived at around 6.30pm. Oh my, she is soooooooo stunningly gorgeous!!!! She went inside the shop and sat down for a while. She came back outside and said something in korean. The winners all lined up to receive the goodie bag (includes a blue sling bag, red laptop bag, 2 notepads, 1 notebook, 1 umbrella) and take individual photo with her.  I was the 7th, or rather 5th person in the line since 2 winners didn't turn up. I was trembling from head to toe as I was so nervous and excited (lots of people watching). When it was my turn, I said anyo hasayo to her which she also replied the same to me. I took the bag from her, got a huge autographed poster from the staff, and posed to take pic. There was a professional photographer taking our pics. They will send to us by this or next week. OMG, MJ was so friendly!! She put her hand on my shoulder and placed her head real close to mine. I was so dazed that the photographer had to remind me to move away for the next person. Hahaha... I said kamsahamida and thank you to her. She was smiling so sweetly and bowing to everyone. Her manager and the other SE staff were also very nice. When they saw me struggling behind them taking pics and vids, they moved away so I could have a better view. How I wish every event is like this...

After everyone had taken pics with her, the staff took out a box and let her pick a card from it. There would be only 1 winner to receive the SE C903 hp. When MJ pronounced the name, I nearly passed out. It sounded like my name!! The translator repeated the name again. This time, I was sure. 

IT WAS MY NAME!!!! AAAARRRGGGHHHH!!!!! I COULDN'T BELIEVE I ACTUALLY WON THE HP!!!! (until now I still can't believe - can someone pinch me please?)


Thank you Minjung!! And thanks a lot to the staff who wrote my name and dropped it into the box!!!

I hurried to MJ, trembling even more. I posed with her to take pic again, holding a letter (since the hp hasn't officially launched yet, they will call me to collect it when it arrives). I held her poster the wrong side and the photographer told me to hold it the right way. Made me panic like mad and I nearly dropped her poster. I think MJ must be thinking I had lost my mind. Haha. After the photoshoot, MJ looked at me and said "you are so lucky!". I said thank you to her many times and kept bowing. OMG, I love her soooooo much!!!!! Thanks MJ, for picking my card!!! The lady-in-charge of the event (very nice lady... if I didn't remember wrongly, I think she was the person-in-charge of the Louis Koo + Da S event) congratulated me. I kept saying "I'm so shocked" and "thank you" to her. MJ took some pics with the staff and left. Me and Janice went to her hotel, hoping to see her again. We waited till 11pm. No sign of her. I was very tired so I left. Janice did something very daring after I left. I salute her for her courage. I won't say what it is here as not convenient.

19/6/09 fri

We were back at the hotel. Only 5 of us there. Waited from 9.30am to1+pm when we finally saw her at the lobby. We passed her some photos to sign and took pics with her. A very big thanks to Janice who made all this possible. THANK YOU!! She and her manager and another guy (maybe assistant?) went out for lunch. As they boarded the cab, her manager winded down the window so we could see MJ and waved goodbye to her. Her manager is very very nice to us. Unlke some Korean artistes'managers, he didn't stop us from taking pics and was very polite to us. Also he's quite tall and good-looking *giggles*. Me and Janice decided to wait for her to come back. While waiting, we went for lunch and developed the photos we took with her. At 4.30pm, she came back and we got her to sign our photos. They went out to walk around the hotel and we followed them at a far distance. We lost sight of them after some time. We were horrible stalkers. Lol. We tried to find them but with no avail. So we went to the foodcourt to have dinner. While I was ordering my food, Janice saw them walking pass the foodcourt! But because I already ordered, we couldn't chase after them. SIGH... bad timing. Since they were so nice, we bought some chocolates, developed some photos which we took yesterday and today and place them into a photo album for her. She was delighted when she saw the chocolates.

SIGH... I'm already missing her very badly. I hope she will come here again very soon. I stopped watching Boys Before Flowers after the 5th episode. I'm gonna continue to watch it for Minjung oni (korean word for sister)!

Myolie, Kevin and Nancy were here for an opening of the Beds Pub, which is located at 10 Mohammed Sultan Rd, few steps away from the Fortune Restaurant (both shops are owned by the same bosses). Thanks to Myo fc gals for inviting me along. Thanks!! You gals are the best!!! Waited from 3pm to 10pm when the stars finally arrived. They posed at the door and posed for pics. They went in and stayed inside till 12am. I managed to take pics with Nancy and Kevin when they came out to sign autographs and took pics with fans before they went back to hotel.

The staff at the pub were very nice to us. They let us go into the pub to rest till 4+pm and let us use their toilet. They also distributed Myo, Kevin and Nancy autographed cards while we were waiting. I was very fortunate to be able to get a full set.


I din manage to take pic with Myo or get her to sign my photos this time as there were too many fans. but it's ok. I have taken pics with her and she has signed my photos before. I've only managed to get Nancy to sign my TVB postcard. I totally forgot to let Kevin sign my 2 photos. AAAARRRRRGGGHHHH!!!!!!

These 2 weeks have been crazy!! Was so busy that I couldn't update my blog. My 2 exam papers were much easier that I thought (hope I can get distinction!), the PC Show @ Suntec was sooooo crowded (I din buy anything), I had 3-4 gatherings wth my friends. NO $$$$$ left.... *CRIES* However I had a very happy time these 2 weeks. Thanks to everyone who has helped me/ brightened up my days!
