#1 -- Crazy Horse Memorial
Crazy Horse is an Indian warrior.
He is known for his participation in the Battle of the Little Bighorn.
The sculptor Korczak Ziółkowski worked on this mountain carving.
He died in 1982.
His wife, Ruth is leading their 7 children to continue this non-profit project.
This memorial still under the constrution
and does not have a fixed completion date.
I could see the face of Crazy Horse clearly but not the rest.
I wonder when it gonna to complete?!!
Far away....
This is the model of Crazy Horse Memorial.
Don't you think it is still far away from completion?
#2 -- Mountain Rushmore National Memorial
Sculptures of the heads of former US presidents.
George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln.
These 4 presidents had great contribution to America
and also represent the first 150 years of American history.
I yearned for stepping on this memorial long time ago.
Now, I did it!
Walking around the president trail.
It was awesome to be here!!!
