So there, I greeted him at 12:02 AM today. Noelle and I were like waiting for the clock to strike midnight. Damn website! They had a whopping 6-minute delay from my clock! And I thought Taipei and Manila were supposed to have the same time zones. Durr! Anyway, there was one lucky girl who got to post her message at exactly 00:00 (and something something seconds)! Boy was she the first! Waaaaahhhh! And there were others ahead of me and it made me grunt. But not for a long time though. I realized that these girls were waiting just as I was and we didn't really know who'd be the first to greet him as soon as the midnight strikes.

I totally forgot to bring my camera to work! It was in my mind before I went to bed and after I came out of the shower. I was even looking at it on top of the table but damn I was getting ready for work really fast and I totally forgot about it. I even forgot to pack my lunch! I thought of bringing my camera with me for one simple thing: take pictures of me and my friends along with our birthday messages then afterwards post the photos on his blog. My day didn't really start out right, did it? Had I known it would turn out like this, I wouldn't have made an effort counting and waiting. Though I admit I got a little sidetracked. You see, when Noey and I were waiting for the clock to strike midnight, we were doing something else so our attention kinda swayed onto another direction and we may have forgotten about the posting-the-birthday-message-at-12-midnight stint. We were actually into some business. And I don't just mean monkey business here. This is serious business. Hahaha! To our dismay, our efforts didn't pay off. We were supposed to delay some sort of stunt, which in the end didn't really turn out to be successful. Boohoo.

i was cleaning out my IPAQ the other day when i stumbled upon one file i wrote last JANUARY... IT SAYS: THINGS TO ACHIEVE FOR 2008. I think i made a list because i read this book THE SECRET..it tells you to claim what you want to have and envision the you already have it. EVEN LOVE. YES..LOVE. it's the power of the mind. I read the list and to my shock and surprise everything BUT 2 really came true...lemme share you what i wrote down:

1. Travel more - CHECK!(this year i've been to Kalibo, Zambales, Bolinao-twice, Bohol, Iloilo, i've got tickets to HK and will be in SG in December. so yay! I didn't count Tagaytay and Batangas and Los Banos coz they're fairly near.)

it's been a month and n days since i learned about the THING that almost drove me crazy..my loyal blog-readers i'll assume you know what im talking about..right? NO? (Evil B whispering: the fcuking x is gay)...ok back to where i was...it has been a month an n days already and about two weeks that my weekends were alcohol free(including weekdays and yes, halelujah i am CLEAN!) so what's my point? It's surprising how one can recover from such a devastating incident..talk about the human spirit. :) so my point is...i couldn't have healed as fast if not for my friends and family. Thank God for them...and thank gawd for those who really went out of their way to find me DATES. Blind dating is totally new to me. I can't remember me having a blind date EVER! I'm telling y'all it's AWKWARD!!! EXCITING and fun but AWKWARD. Blind date#1: let's call him BD1 haha where: Flirty Fridays at a bar in gb3 time: around 11 Evil B was in super party mode not because of the date but because a friend is dj'ing in that bar. 11.30 PM Evil B arrives prep'd at the bar... 12 MN no date yet and more friends came 12.30 camwhoring with friends 1AM Evil B is dancing like crazy--has had a number of free booze c/o the DJ 2AM still no date yet, EVIL B doesn't care anymore as she was having fun dancing, drinking and watching horny people on the dancefloor (really entertaining) 2.30 MR BD1 finally came! he's not that tall..not that cute too and he's wearing a white long-sleeved polo and i think leather shoes..(OMG) we were introduced by a common friend...exchanged smiles but didn't really have a real conversation as i was almost wasted.. 3AM MR BD1 had to leave coz he has work. END OF BD1. a couple of text messages were exchanged but that was it. No 2nd date. BD#2 Went to Los Banos with my sister and she tried to hook me up with her friend...a vetmed. We went to LB square which is quite a cool place to hang out with your friends. Booze and food are CHEAP. I love LB!hehehe... Mr. BD2 was quite on time. He's kinda cute, has a good head on his shoulders and has a charming set of DIMPLES. we talked and it was ok. No fireworks in the background but it was fairly better than the first one i had. Definitely better. This time i was sober..haha. He graduated from UP and he has a car.haha. plus plus plus points. He drove me and sis back to the house and that was it. NO TEXT MSGS. NO 2nd date. hmmm... BD#3 a friend of mine introduced me to him. I can't actually call it a date because it was over coffee and during my lunchbreak. I guess he's an OK guy but not my type. haha. I don't think there will be a 2nd date. NOT MUCH TO TELL EITHER. Funniest thing of all...when i went to the laundry shop yesterday, the kind lady that handles my clothes knew i was single and asked me if it's ok that she introduce me to one of his customers who is single and looking.hahaha. she said he's good-looking, tall and works as a seaman!!!!WAAAAAAAAAHhahahaha....NO WAY am i gonna date a seaman. NO EXPLANATIONS. I just don't want to. Not really looking for love right now. Single life is quite fun.though sometimes i wish there'd be someone who could make the rainy nights a little warmer. sigh.

We have the power to pass this bill. Write to your congressman about it. Let them know your thoughts on this bill and all the others that they should be or should not be passing. If they know the thoughts of the people that they are serving, perhaps they will make the right move and vote the voice of the people.
