This is a short introduction/history of the fanfic that I wrote a few years ago (around 2006?) when I first posted it on an online forum. I'm reposting it here since that forum is now shut down for the most part. Anyway, apologies if the formatting's a bit.. odd. I tried to fix it, but I don't know if it worked very well. xD
Fushigi Yuugi: Tenkyoku Heiden
Stunned silence, even stiller than the aftermath of the earthquake, swept through the clearing. Haien's first thought was that this was impossible. Genbu was one of the four legendary gods, the protector of Hokkan. How could he be here in Nyosei, let alone descend to the earth? And if he really were who he said he was, she had to get Nazo out of there. Surely the only reason for his appearance would be to rid Nyosei of their Summoner."What are you doing here? Who are you?" Mai demanded.
"Me?" Genbu asked, then laughed. "Oh, easy enough. I'm on a mission to destroy you all. It shouldn't be hard after all; my supply of puppets will be endless on this island."
One of the women screamed a war cry and fired an arrow at Genbu. Before they could blink, he had caught it. A small snap echoed through the clearing and he threw the broken remains away. "Nice try," he said amusedly.
A/N: I have posted another version of this here before, which can be found here. This one I am posting right now is a revision, a radical one, that was required for my class. While I do like the original version, as it got across the point I was trying to get across, I guess this one may be more interesting to the reader? Dunno. xD; Anyway, many thanks to Danny~, who helped read through it and give suggestions. You can find his blog here, which he works on with his brother. The Last Room
A/N: Apologies. Dx Got a job and it took a while to get into the swing of things. I've also begun to help my dad translate a paper he wrote on Chinese philosophy, which focuses on Yijing, aka The Book of Change. It's pretty fun, and I'm enjoying the challenge of the semantic differences between English and Chinese. But yeah, it was a bit hectic overall, but think I'm good now more or less though.. so going to get back to posting more regularly again. Anyway, hope any random visitors enjoy this chapter. ^^

Chapter Four
Updated the album with all the pictures I took from my camera the last few weeks. Enjoy. ^^
The first set of ducklings have already begun to grow in their adult feathers. At the moment, they all appear female, although I can kind of see a tint of green on some of their heads when we went to visit them today. The second set of ducklings are just beginning to, so I see it in their baby feathers. Kind of funny. Didn't get to take a picture of them since I didn't have my camera with me (yay for spontaneous visit), which is a bit of a shame, because that step of their life was the step that I missed the week we didn't go. ^^' Ah well. At least got to see them now.
After the smoke had cleared, Nari had found herself surrounded by the angry group of women who had been chasing the two of them. Immediately her mind had flown to Nazo. Where was her brother and was he safe? Had he managed to escape? It had been him the women had been after. If they had him, how could she protect him?
